Botanical name: Elettaria cardamomum
Green cardamom consists of the dried seed capsules of Elettaria cardamomum, a perennial herb of the ginger family. Sourced from the high-altitude plantations of Kerala, our cardamom is handpicked at peak maturity and sorted into grades. Four grades are offered: 8 mm, 7–8 mm, 6–7 mm and Bulk grade.
