Who we are
This website is operated by Nurtured Spices (“we”, “us”). It is a trade website: it describes our range and lets prospective trade buyers send us a wholesale enquiry.
What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the wholesale enquiry form:
- your name;
- your company (optional);
- your business email address;
- your phone number (optional);
- the products you are interested in;
- the quantity and unit you have in mind (optional);
- the destination for the goods (optional);
- your message;
- your confirmation that you have read this policy.
The date and time of the submission are recorded with the enquiry. Browsing the public pages requires no account and collects nothing about you.
Automated checks when you submit the form
To keep the form free of automated spam, the server reads the IP address of your connection and counts the submissions made from it over a short period. The address is held in the server’s memory only for that period and is not stored with your enquiry. The form also contains a field that is hidden from people and a timing check; submissions that fill the hidden field or arrive faster than a person could type are rejected and not stored.
How we use your enquiry
We use the information you send only to understand your requirement and to respond to it. We do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not sell or pass your details to anyone other than the service providers named below, who process them on our behalf.
We may keep the enquiry and our reply as a record of the trade correspondence that follows.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in the website’s database, hosted by Supabase, and can be read only by authorised users of Nurtured Spices through a password-protected area of this website. If email notification is switched on, a copy of your enquiry is also emailed to us through an email delivery service; otherwise it is read from the database. The website itself is hosted on Cloudflare Workers by Cloudflare, Inc.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence that follows. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Access, correction and deletion
To ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, write to us through the wholesale enquiry form, quoting the name and email address you used. We will confirm what we have done.
Links to other websites
The image credits page links to the source pages of the photographs on Wikimedia Commons, Pexels and Creative Commons. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. This website is published by Nurtured Spices.
Changes to this policy
If we change the way this website handles your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. See also our terms of use.
